Our resident CNC expert, Jeff Lewis, details a 3D model of the DEIMOS slit mask holding fixture using SurfCam

Once the program is complete, the data is sent to the Milltronics Manufactur ing CNC milling machine and a milling procedure is established.

A piece of stock is secured to the working platform, and the machine is given the command to "make it so!"

At this point the CNC milling machine takes over and is a "hands-free" opera tion requiring minimal supervision.
