CCD and dewar assembly and testing

Writing of the CCD code and testing of readout characteristics are being performed by Bob Kibrick.

Our Electronics Engineer, Chris Wright, is performing the final tweaks of the electronics to achieve the fastest possible readout time with minimal noise.

The CCD alignment and flatness is checked in the CCD lab.

A new style of cold strap is fabricated and tested. This is a critical component in the thermal path between the liquid Nitrogen in the dewar and the CCD chip. Without proper heat transfer a target cold temperature of -120 Celsius cannot be achieved.
